Series 2 : Replacing the Catalyst Thermocouple

Tools Required : 

• Philips #2 Screwdriver
• 6mm hex bit with extension (6mm Allen key)
• Adjustable wrench

1. Power down Roaster, unplug ethernet and power cable, remove the rear skin.
2. Use a 6mm allen screwdriver to open up the rear extrusion.  Swing the panel out and open.  Place the bracket and screw aside.
   
3. Swing of the extrusion from the right side like a door. 
4. Locate the catalyst thermocouple circled in the image. 
   
5. Remove the old thermocouple, match any bends in the old thermocouple with the new thermocouple. 
6. Install new thermocouple using the same retaining nut and ferrule. 
7. Close extrusion. Plug ethernet back into roaster. Plug power back into the wall. 
8. Power on and test.
