Initial / Site Preparation
- Check voltage at Receptacle ( CIRCLE: 3PH @ 208V or 1PH @ 220-240V )
- Record phase: ________ Voltage (across hots): _________
- Locate items shipped prior to install (test coffee, cleaning kit, etc)
- Ethernet
- Confirm that the source is the furthest point upstream (modem)
- Confirm connectivity and speed with a computer: __________ Mbps
- Uncrate the roaster and move to final location
- Inspect for damage TAKE PICTURES OF CRATE, TIP SENSORS, AND NOTABLE DAMAGE
- Verify placement allows adequate ventilation (6” from back panel to wall, 3” on both sides)
- Hook ethernet up to the port on the rear of the roaster
- Remove skins
Drum
- Inspect Door Glass for damage
- Ensure thumb screws securing are tight
Software Update PLEASE IDLE ROASTER WHILE CONNECTED UNTIL COMPLETE
- Communicate with Bellwether Tech Support confirms complete.
- Record Firmware Rev (visible on “Help” tab): ____________________________
- Record App Rev (visible on “Help” tab): ___________________________
- No leaks (Compressor shuts off when pressurized)
- Ensure pressure switch cuts off pump ~100PSI
- Regulator set to 80 PSI
- Conduct tests from the Tech Panel
- Conduct Hot Test
- Restart Roaster (clear false alarms)
- Test Roast #1: By Technician
- Replace skins
- Test Roast #2: By Technician, showing Customer
- Test Roast #3: By Customer (in customers profile) with oversight from Technician
- Prefilter (every 6 roasts)
- Waste Water Tank (every 6 roasts)
- Chaff Can (every 6 roasts)

- Replace Skins
- Wipe down machine
- Clean space
- Send all pictures, documentation, and unused parts to BW Support
