Shop Roaster: PM Checklist (01/2025)

Initial / Site Preparation

  1. Power down Roaster with switch at back left and disconnect power cord from Roaster.
  2. Remove side panels
  3. Counter top: Position comfortably to access back and sides of roaster

    Continuous: Remove wheel chock and roll roaster out

Inspect Main Board
  1. Look for dust, remove with compressed air
  2. Confirm TC connectors are well set

Clean The Front Glass LINK
  1. Remove screws securing Glass to Roaster
  2. Use a sharp blade/window scraper to remove debris
  3. Refit glass
Clean The Heat Exchange  LINK
  1. Remove the exhaust brick at the lower part of heat exchanger, soak in coffee machine cleaner, rinse off, set aside to dry
  2. Remove the top plate of the Heat Exchange
  3. Loosen side panels or the bottom plate of Heat Exchange to allow access to remove plates
  4. Remove the 4 separate plates of the heat exchange.  Soak in coffee cleaner, rinse off, set aside to dry.
  5. Refit panels taking care to ensure single fin / Panel 1 is facing inward.
  6. Inspect the following tubing and elbows
    1. Inlet to Blower tube
    2. Exhaust to blower tube, clean elbow fitting, soak in cleaner if necessary
    3. Exhaust to Water bottle tube, clean elbow fitting, soak in cleaner if necessary

Replace Filter Set & Clean Exhaust Fans LINK

  1. Remove Carbon and HEPA filters
  2. Clean Exhaust Fans 
    1. Remove the cover to fans.
    2. Remove the blades from the motor shaft by loosening lock screw (⅛” allen)
    3. Clean blades with coffee cleaner, rinse, dry, refit fan blades and covers
    4. Clean the interior of fan box, make sure that it is clean and dry
  3. Fit new HEPA
  4. Fit new carbon

  1. Place a 5lb./ 2.27kg weight inside of the empty Autoload Hopper.
  2. Log into the Tech Panel and check that the weight is registering correctly.
  3. If not, follow the instruction for recalibration
