Initial / Site Preparation
- Check voltage at L6-30R (1PH 240V) Outlet in the USA, check local spec for international
- Confirm presence of a strong, usable WiFi network
- Move crate as close to final location as possible before uncrating
- Inspect boxes for damage TAKE PICTURES OF ANY NOTABLE DAMAGE TO CRATE OR ROASTER
- Remove the outer cardboard and foam
- Prepare the roaster for lifting by setting up four handles along base of roaster.
- Have 4 people carefully lift roaster onto counter top for Single Batch use. If setting up Continuous Roasting, proceed to next section.
- Unbox Bulk Auto Collector and position where it will be placed
- Install wheel chock to keep the base from moving during install process
- Insert metal tube inside the silicone Boot
- Confirm that the water collection pipe is connected to the Boot and water collection nozzle
- With 4 people, carefully lift Shop Roaster onto Bulk Auto Collector
- Connect two sensors (Chaff, Bean Collector) at the rear of the Roaster.
- Replace Bucket with Autobucket and join barrel connector, cover with Veilance.
- Lock Chaff Collar in place of Chaff Can and connect silicone boot to lipped groove
- Unbox Auto Loader and place on top of the Roaster.
- Connect wire in Autoload to barrel connector on Roaster that ultimately travels to J18
- Replace lifting rods inside roaster, replace panels
- Attach power cable to rear of Roaster, plug into tested outlet.
- Flip white Power Switch on the rear of Shop Roaster.
- Once Roaster fully boots, click “Register Roaster” at bottom of screen
- Connect to Wifi network, wait for the Roaster to test speed and confirm connectivity. If this times out, cancel (if available) or reboot.
- Register to your account using the displayed QR code or URL. Make sure to use the QR or URL before clicking continue or you will lose access and have to restart.
- Remove the back or right side panel of the Autoloader.
- Confirm that the weighing plate is level and secured in place by the green spacers
- Press the tare button, wait 3 seconds, and then place a 5lb. weight in the hopper, then press the purge button and wait for 5 seconds.
- From the Tech Panel, confirm that weight is displayed as 5lb. and then shows “--” when the weight is removed.
